Had a really good visit here! The zoo was clean, and having bathrooms and plenty of shade around made the day so much more comfortable 🙂

We took the kids and they had a really good time, so from that side it was worth it. The only thing that got a little tiring was how far the bathrooms were, especially with little ones. If you go, I’d just recommend making a bathroom stop before getting too settled.

I’m not sure if prices are usually this reasonable, but the tickets felt cheap for how much there was to see inside. Overall, it made for a fun day at the zoo.

I visited the Honolulu Zoo and overall I was happy to see that a lot of the animals seemed well cared for. The habitats had plenty of shade, plants, and room to move around, so it didn’t feel like they were just stuck in plain cages. I also noticed clean areas and fresh water, and the staff seemed to be paying attention. Some of the animals were just relaxing and looked calm, which was really nice to see. At the same time, I always have mixed feelings about zoos in general, but it did seem like animal welfare is taken seriously here

I checked out honoluluzoo.org before we went, the zoo was pretty much exactly as described. The whole place felt clean and well maintained, the paths were easy to walk, and the bathrooms were "surprisingly" better than I expected. You can tell they really stay on top of the grounds and the animal areas. Overall, it was a really nice visit

I went to the zoo with my kids last weekend. The staff were lovely right from the entrance. One woman helped us find the fastest way to the elephants. She also pointed out a few shady spots to sit.
Everyone we spoke to was kind and patient. Even when it got crowded. It made the whole day feel easy. We had a great time and would definitely go back...

Parking was close by, which made the whole visit a lot less stressful. The wheelchair paths were easy to use too. It’s nice to see a place making the effort to be accessible, because everyone should be able to get around comfortably and with dignity

I went in expecting to see a decent mix of animals, and for the most part the zoo delivered. There was a nice variety, and most of the animals were easy to spot, which made the visit feel worth it. A few of the enclosures were quieter than I expected, so those parts felt a little slow, but overall we had a good time and it matched what I was hoping for.
